There is no celebrity hype in paradise (um, at least I think there isn't)

Hey all...

As of today, I'm on a much much needed vacation for two weeks (um, right... except for the CNN appearance I MIGHT get to do at the end of this week and the documentary film I've agreed to be in.....too cool to pass up!).  But aside from that, I'm disappearing to someplace that hopefully looks exactly like this ( <<----)  and there BETTER not be any cell phone reception!

So please excuse me while I think about other things besides celebrity hype for a spell.  And I promise to be back in a flash with tons of rants and insights. 

Post your little hearts out while I'm gone, and of course, send me emails through my website www.allmadeup.net if you hear of something that would make a great entry for this blog once I am back at my desk.  Oh yeah, and if any new comers have read All Made Up: A Girl's Guide to Seeing Through Celebrity Hype and Celebrating Real Beauty and feel like writing a glowing review on Amazon.  Well, um, I wouldn't say no to that!

I don't have cable TV but I'd check out this CNN interview at my sister's place! If you do end up doing it could you post the date and show time?

Speaking of CNN, I was over at my sister's place last night and all CNN and any of the other news networks seemed interested in was the Spears/K-Fed split. Is it really news that Federline got dumped via text message?
