First things first!
Wanted to let everyone know that I'm teaming up with Courtney Macavinta again for another round of Girls Guide to Getting REAL tour dates!
We'll be in San Diego and Los Angeles in March, and New England in April....and there's still time to book us! So if you're in one of those areas and are interested in having us come to your school, college/university, youth group, library etc... email me here!

and next, just a little something I found really interesting, in a sad kinda way:
Apparently even the sexiest man alive gets airbrushed/photoshopped/electronically made over these days when appearing in print.
Not that I hang with Brad regularly, but that ad (some new Japanese jeans ad) on the left makes him look a whole lot thinner then he normally appears in paparazzi photos etc.
Which is just dumb. Cause is there anyone who sits around thinking "Brad would be a lot cuter if his waist were just a tad thinner..."

I just discovered your blog. WOW! I love that you're so passionate about encouraging health in women (and men). I hope to find a copy of your book and take it with me when I head back to college. I'm pursuing teacher education and hope to model and encourage healthy behavior for all of my students.
And photoshopped pictures of Brad Pitt frighten me.

Hi Audrey, I got the link to your site on a desperate search for any information about JUMP magazine. I subscribed to it when I was younger until it was discontinued in 2000. It was such a wonderful magazine, and I found solice in it as young girl. I was gutted when it folded, but in a way I wasn't suprised. How could a magazine that spoke to REAL girls stick around in a world that shuns anything real. Anyways, I had kept a stash of all my old magazines in a box in my parents basement, only to come home and find out they recycled them, thinking I had out grown them. Do you of any place I may be able to find old issues of JUMP? I know its a long shot, but I thought who better to ask than the editor of the magazine?? Thank you so much for your time, and thank you for being part of such an amazing production!

Your tour sounds awesome and I would love to see what you do, but I can't get the Real Girl Tour link to work. When are you workshops and where?
